MOMO Tea — DIY Miniature Tea House Kit

A little tea café, arranged over two floors

MOMO Tea is a DIY miniature house kit for building a two-storey tea café with several places to sit and linger. A curved staircase climbs the left side of the open structure, linking the downstairs lounge to the upstairs seating and cake counter. Black grid framing and railings outline the rooms, while orange furniture, a sage-green hutch and trailing plants give the miniature tea shop its color and character.

Downstairs, the table is already set

An orange sofa with textured white cushions faces an oval tea table. A silver-colored miniature teapot and cups sit on a tray beside orange flowers and a small lace cloth. Nearby, a separate round table holds tiny refreshments and an open magazine, with two black chairs pulled around it. At the side, a white bowl-shaped basin, gold-colored tap and round mirror form a little washstand. These everyday details make the lower floor feel like a furnished café, with something to discover beyond the main seating area.

Follow the stair to another corner

Upstairs, an orange-backed arched bookshelf sits beside matching seating and a small round table. Across the floor, a brown counter displays miniature cakes beneath shelves of cups and containers. The open layout lets you see how the reading corner, serving area and planted railing fit together. Look from above to take in the whole floor, or from the front to follow the stair between the two levels.

Enjoy the making over several sittings

Give this adult craft project a place on your table and work through it at a pace that suits you. Assembling the structure, arranging the furnishings and adding the small decorations offer different things to concentrate on. Spend one session on the room itself and another on the tiny tea things, enjoying the progress without rushing to the last piece. The model measures approximately 22 cm wide, 19 cm deep and 18.4 cm high; allow enough surface area for its full base. For a tea lover who enjoys miniature interiors, the kit can be a project to make themselves or a personal gift you assemble for them.
